David Koma | West Hollywood

April 17, 2013

I photographed London-based fashion designer, David Koma at the H. Lorenzo boutique in West Hollywood. Koma was so comfortable in front of the camera and required very little direction, I love when that happens!  The photos were featured on Live Fast Mag earlier this week, so be sure to have a look!

Eileen

April 14, 2013

Isn’t my friend Eileen so beautiful? I snapped this photo of her on an evening walk in Venice Beach, the cat is pretty cute too, right? These were taken a while back, but after spending Saturday at the Grove together for this event, I thought it be fun to finally share this pretty girl. I honestly wish you could all be friends with Eileen. She has such a lovely spirit and is always making me smile!

Birthday Crowns

April 14, 2013

Someone had a birthday recently and these are the birthday crowns that were worn for the occasion. I have to say, out of all the DIY craft posts that I’ve photographed for Design Love Fest, this one is definitely my favorite. In other news, a serious crafter (and by serious I mean very successful crafter) approached me this week to tell me how much she admires my craft and “diy” photographs. It might be time to add craft photography to the portfolio.

Ethan Lipsitz | Founder of Apliiq

April 12, 2013

I photographed Ethan Lipsitz for a Cool Hunting studio feature. We had a blast taking portraits around downtown LA where his studio is located. If you’ve never heard of Apliiq before, be sure to check out all the cool hipster gear. Oh, and make sure to take a minute to read the full story on Cool Hunting.

Mercantile Restaurant

April 12, 2013

I photographed Bri from designlovefest and her boyfriend Arian at the Mercantile restaurant in Hollywood, CA. They were kind enough to share their food with me as I photographed, and I must say, the food was absolutely delicious! Chef CJ definitely knows what’s up! I will definitely be returning to the Mercantile in the near future.
